"The number one reason for me to join the Electrolux Group was the opportunity to work for a globally focused company. As an ambitious engineer I enjoy being trusted with responsibility and making an impact on manufacturing processes, that are visible both in and outside of Electrolux. Knowing that we are always moving forward with innovative manufacturing solutions, coupled with the ability for me to see my impact on large scale projects, brings me great satisfaction. Electrolux is very committed to showing our drive towards being a competitive manufacturer and I am extremely excited to play a role in this vision.
I learned at the very early stages of my Electrolux career that I have full control of my career path. Every employee is in the drivers´ seat of their personal and professional development. It was through my own initiative and the internal Open Labor Market that I had the opportunity to participate in one of the largest projects for Electrolux in Australia. There, being a key player in the operations, I implemented machines and processes that will be in use for many years to come. After this experience I am continuing with my career development when being involved in Electrolux first major greenfield-site investment operations in Poland.
The experience I have gained over the few short years working on exciting international projects for Electrolux have equated to at least ten years of experience if I would have stayed in the USA. Now I am able to see solutions from many different view points and look for potential project flaws in places that before for me was impossible. Also, the amount of contacts I have gained from working abroad seemed to have branched out exponentially."
